About Me

I am a social worker who has worked with children, youth, families and individuals for 20 years. I provide support for you when you want to better your mental health and move toward your preferred way of living and interacting. I am transparent, engaging, and creative with therapy. 

 

In a private, serene setting, we work together to embrace discomfort and get through difficulties. I help you see that challenges are empowering and that moving out of your comfort zone creates possibility. I help you understand that vulnerability is a cornerstone of courage—and courage leads us to change.

My Philosophy

Your journey is your own (and change doesn't happen overnight).

 

I believe that when you explore your thoughts and behaviours, you can reach your goals. I listen to you—truly listen—and give you the tools you need to get where you're going.

Sometimes we struggle. Figuring out how to turn that struggle into a strength gives you a sense of well-being. I help you find that and hold onto it. I help you move between the fences and open gates.

More important than what qualifies me to help you move forward, I want you to know that I truly care. I support whatever change works best for your unique situation, without judgement or expectation. In my serene space away from it all,  you'll find a safe place to breathe—a private place where you can talk, think, and explore what's troubling you.
